Itinerary

Embark on a 6-day flying Kenya safari, You’ll be picked up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park, a gem nestled at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy stunning aerial views as you fly over Kenya’s scenic plains. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you for a short game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. Arrive and check-in and lunch, relax before heading out for an evening game drive in the park, where you’ll encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and lions with the snow-capped peak of Africa’s tallest mountain as your backdrop. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

After breakfast, enjoy an en route game drive as you transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife destination. Marvel at breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley, its escarpments, shimmering lakes and rolling farmlands below. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will transfer you to your lodge or camp, with a game drive along the way. After lunch and some rest, embark on an evening game drive in the Mara, known for its incredible wildlife density, including the Big Five and during migration season, thousands of wildebeest roaming the plains. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive to explore the vast Maasai Mara. This is your chance to spot the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and antelopes. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views and sounds of the wilderness. Continue your afternoon game drive through different parts of the reserve before returning to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay. Optional: Enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne bush breakfast (at extra cost).

After breakfast, check out and optionally visit a Maasai village to learn more about their culture and traditions. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nanyuki, located in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Enjoy the stunning aerial views of Mount Kenya and rolling farmlands below. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your lodge or tented camp. After check-in and lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the Big Five and a wide range of other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of East Africa’s leading conservation success stories. Encounter endangered species, including the last two northern white rhinos in the world. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives where you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and over 300 bird species. After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Nanyuki airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. This marks the end of your 6-day flying Kenya safari.
